Who needs a NJ Boating
Safety Certificate?
As of June
1, 2009, the State of New Jersey requires a NJ Boating Safety Certificate for anyone who
operates a power driven vessel on NJ waters- regardless of your age!

USCG Licensed Master
NJ Certified Boating Safety Instructor
This
one day eight hour course satisfies the NJ Boating Safety requirement.
At the end of the course, you will take a 50 question test. Upon
successful completion of the test ( you need a score of 70 to pass),
you will be issued a temporary NJ Boating Safety Certificate. It will
take a few months to get the original certificate from the State of NJ,
but your temporary certificate will be legal in the interim!

Onboard YourVessel Training
4 hours of instruction for $399.00.
This includes the following:

Effects of Wind and Current
Pre Departure checklist
*For NJ Boating Safety Certificate Course add 4 hours
for an additional $50.00 per person,up to six persons.
